OUR STAGE
The Pineville High Performing Arts Center
All of our productions are performed in the beautiful and spacious 1300 seat Pineville High Performing Arts Center. Erected in 1991, the Performing Arts Center is a versatile, state of the art facility designed to accommodate large-scale theatre productions, choral, orchestra or band concerts, dance recitals,
rock concerts and more.
State of the art sound, lighting and versatile technical capabilities allow unlimited creativity for production design, and provide opportunities for students to implement professional quality lighting, sound and sets.
Our stage is outfitted with a total of 22 line sets as part of our built-in counterweight fly system. We also have up to 28 positions on our built-in pin rail system which when both systems are in full use gives us a total of 50 line sets and options to create special effects for any size show. These systems allow for scenic elements to be flown in and out of a scene creating the theatrical magic you see during many of our shows!
Our backstage wing space is one of the largest in the area with more than 100ft from the far stage left wing to the far reaches of the stage right wing. This allows room for big set pieces to be moved on and off stage through out the show.
Our stage has enough power to power more than twenty two houses! We have two three phase power disconnect panels, one 400 amp panel and a 100 amp panel. This gives us plenty of power for large scale productions. We also have a total of five dressing rooms backstage perfect for our cast members to get everything ready for the show including hair, make-up and getting into costumes.
